FAQ

COVID-19 Reporting and Contact Tracing

The University has established a centralized process to track COVID-19 reports and conduct contact tracing. All students, staff and faculty must self-report positive COVID-19 tests using the COVID-19 reporting portal.  Supervisors will use the same portal to report positive tests of staff they supervise.

The following are the types of incidents that should be reported: positive test for COVID-19, close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes) with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, advised by a health official to self-isolate, and/or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. All employees working on campus should maintain a Contact Log.  Daily, any employee working on campus should record all close contacts (within 6 feet for 15 minutes) with others on the log. Managers should be able to access the log in the event it is needed, and the employee is not available.
