CATAPULT

Texas A&M University-Corpus has chosen to postpone Catapult Site visits for February, March, April and May 2021. Appointments have been rescheduled for May and June 2020.  To reschedule your appointment, please go to www.timeconfirm.com/tamucc.

TWO-STEP WELLNESS PROGRAM

Please note that a Wellness Exam is no longer the only way to get your wellness program credit for the new year.  View the Comprehensive Two-Step Resource Guide for more information about your options.   

The A&M System Benefits Administration office has extended the wellness incentive program completion date to August 31, 2020. There are several checklist activities, such as Well onTarget Self-Management Programs, educational HealthQuests, and MDLIVE registration, that can be completed digitally/virtually. We encourage members to participate in those programs to promote their health and wellbeing during this stressful time. Connecting You with an Expert

With 2nd.MD, you will have access to a panel of experts who specialize in all health conditions, including COVID-19. Plus, all virtual consultations are done face to face with a specialist via video chat or phone call, from the comfort and safety of your own home. Whether you’ve contracted COVID-19 or not, we are prepared to answer any questions you and your loved ones have to help you gain medical certainty during these uncertain times.

Virtual Visits

Virtual Visits is a  feature provided by MDLive through your Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) health plan. It is available to covered employees and retirees in the A&M Care Plans. You can schedule visits with doctors and therapists via telephone, online video or mobile app. This alternative to in-person appointments provides health care for simple, non-emergency medical and behavioral health conditions 24/7/365.

You can select your doctor from a large, national virtual visit network, or choose to meet with the first available physician. If you want to meet with the same doctor on your second virtual visit, you are able to select him or her from your MDLive dashboard for a follow-up appointment. When appropriate, prescriptions can be sent to your pharmacy of choice. Behavioral health consultations are available by appointment and video only.

Note: You’ll need your BCBSTX member ID card if registering on MDLIVE’s website or by phone.

Once your account is active, you may start using virtual visits right away. You may:

  2. View openings
  3. Schedule an appointment or meet with the next available doctor
