Emergency leave is being provided for leave eligible faculty and staff due to Hurricane Harvey. 

All requests for emergency leave on or after 8/31/17 should be submitted to supervisors and up through the chain of command to the division Vice President. Vice Presidents will submit the requests to the President. 

Review the table below to determine what action is needed.  


Employees who had submitted vacation, sick leave or other leave requests for 8/24 – 8/30 can contact Human Resources at Human.Resources@tamucc.edu.

The time sheets will be processed for August 21st through August 31st separately from September 1st and September 2nd. Because of the separate processing period, Time Traq will not automatically add any state or FLSA compensatory time to Leave Traq. It is important that all non-exempt staff review their timesheets and request the Human Resources Office add your compensatory time manually. Please email human.resources@tamucc.edu your request.



During Summer 2017 and Fall 2018, the Employee Betterment Program will cover 100% of tuition at TAMUCC. This program is available to employees who have been in a budgeted regular status for three months prior to the start of classes. Standard fees are waived; consequently, EBP participants will not have access to student services funded by the waived fees. The EBP will cover 50% of the Distance Education Fee but employees are responsible for other applicable course fees (e.g. Lab Fees, Field Trip Fees, etc.).
